Influence of Biological Agents in Controlling Nematodes and Improving Growth of Coffee Seedling and Soil P-Availability

Pests and diseases cause significant yield losses in coffee cultivation Indonesia. In particular, Pratylenchus coffeae is the most common nematode Indonesia known to harm plants. dealing with threat of P. coffeae, mycorrhiza used as a biological agent increase growth plants well control nematode. This experiment was conducted determine formulation agents form mycorrhizae enriched mycorrhizal helper bacteria (MHB) nematodes seedlings soil P-availability. The this were Glomus spp., while liquid MHB formula Pseudomonas diminuta Bacillus subtilis. randomized block design treatments consisting (without agents); inoculation coffeae; + P 108+ 109+ coffeae. Observations made on population 10 weeks after administered treatments. Results revealed that spp. increased seedlings, P-availability, reduced best treatment 108 which can reduce by 65%.
